Not to get into shipping discourse but the amount of boring fun-hating professional full time clowns on this website who seem to g e n u i n e l y not understandthe difference between human x anthro ships and bestiality is truly astounting.
Not to get into shipping discourse, it’s still an animal.
The fact that there are people who will bend over backwards just to ship a male human character with something else that’s male even if it’s an animal shows how far people go to fetishize shit.
And then when people look at you sideways it’s b/c they’re “fun-hating professionals” and not b/c they don’t care if an animal is anthro they realize it’s a type of bestiality …cartoon or not.
Miles Morales doesn’t need an additional father figure as typically father figures are there to fill in the role of an absent/emotionally distant father and Miles’ dad is neither of those. His friendship with Peter B Parker is still wonderful and heartwarming, but Peter isn’t Miles’ father figure, he’s his mentor.
Hot take, people can interpret whatever the hell they want, and unless they start erasing Miles actual father, you don’t get tell people what they should or shouldn’t do.
Also, do you watch movies or read books, plenty of characters and real life people for that matter have talked about other family members or friends parents or other people they being like a second mother, father, sister, brother etc.
