Well I finished that Tokyo Ghoul manga, I even “read” the raw chapters. So 163 chapters in all.
For the bit that was translated tho, the character development for the protagonist Kaneki is amazing.
I don’t want to be that person, but I am, it’s just seeing this development just reminded me some characters would be great as anti heroes, and I always felt that Naruto would have benefited more as an anti hero, I think Naruto would have been amazing if it was a dark gore like anime in general. I still enjoy it, but the possibilities.
Anyway Tokyo Ghoul, is a great example on how you show the transitions in your characters, especially when you’re writing anti-heroes who are usually characterized with tropes that are half- hearted.
Little thing before I end this, some characters had eyes that remind me of L on Death Note.
Seriously tho, after seeing the preview for next ep, I was like this is a lot of ish, maybe I’m wrong and Braeden is not in the ep, but then I remembered she’s only going to miss 3 eps.
And she has.
So no more absentee Braeden.
